Other major festivals have not yet announced their 2027 dates. Clubs: an alternative to festivals
The Brazilian club scene is stronger than the festival scene — four venues in DJ Mag's global top-100 2026:
| Club | Rank in top-100 | City | Profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Green Valley | #2 | Camboriú, Santa Catarina | open-air for 10,000+, festival scale in a club format; operating since 2007 |
| Laroc | #7 | Valinhos, São Paulo | open-air in a former quarry |
| D-Edge | #35 | São Paulo | city club, techno and house, scene legend |
| Warung Beach Club | #46 | Itajaí, Santa Catarina | beach open-air since 2002, deep house and techno; Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox |
If you are not travelling for specific festival dates but want the electronic scene, the Florianópolis / Camboriú / Itajaí route gives Green Valley and Warung in one trip. The season there falls in the southern Brazilian summer, from December to March.
Discrepancy in sources
Closing date of Universo Paralello 2026/27. The guide 360meridianos and aggregators give 27 December 2026 — 4 January 2027 and the 19th edition, some tourist pages — 27 December — 3 January and the 18th edition. The official site on 31 Oct 2026 does not show dates: only the heading “19ª Edição” can be read. The start on 27 December is the same across sources; consider the closing date unconfirmed.
