About the districts
Barra da Lagoa
Barra da Lagoa is a former fishing village by the channel that connects Lagoa da Conceição with the ocean. Barra da Lagoa beach is inhabited, the water by the channel is calmer. The natural pools of Barra are located within the Monumento Natural da Galheta and are situated between rocks on the open ocean.
